Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr.
Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr.’s life calling is to see the lost come to Christ and disciples becoming spiritually mature. Since his installation as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Glenarden in 1989, the church membership has grown from 500 to more than 10,000 members. With campuses in Landover and Upper Marlboro, Md., and a staff of 300 full- and part-time employees, FBCG is widely recognized as a community pillar with 100+ ministries meeting diverse needs throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, nationally and abroad.
Pastor Jenkins serves on the board for numerous organizations, including Bethel University, Project Bridges, The Skinner Leadership Institute, Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable, the National Association of Evangelicals and a local hospital. In addition, Pastor Jenkins serves as chairman emeritus of SHABACH! Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization that he founded in 1996 to provide food, clothing, educational and employment opportunities in the Maryland area. He also served for two years as vice president/executive director of National Ministries with Converge Worldwide.
In 2001, Pastor Jenkins received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Southern California School of Ministry in Inglewood, Calif. He and his wife, Trina, are the proud parents of six children and one granddaughter.
Jamie & Tameika Isaac Devine are a dynamic, community oriented couple that give of themselves every day make their community, state and nation a better place. They are the co-founders of The Possibilities Institute, a public speaking and consulting firm that helps people unlock the endless possibilities that God has planned for them. The Devines are well sought after speakers and regularly engage audiences large and small on the topics of love, marriage, overcoming obstacles and living the life that God has planned for you.
Jamie is President/CEO for Community Assistance Provider, a local non-profit housing development corporation. He also serves as a Vice Chair of the Richland School District One Board of School Commissioners and Secretary of the Board of the South Carolina School Board Association. Jamie is a graduate of Benedict College in Columbia, SC and is a licensed realtor and housing counselor. Jamie serves on numerous boards, commissions and civic organizations, including, Indian Waters Council (Boy Scouts of America) Whitney M. Young Committee Chairman, The Association of Housing Counseling of North and South Carolina, The Brotherhood Ministry of Brookland Baptist Church and the Midlands Advisory Board for Security Federal Bank. He is also a 2003 graduate of Leadership Columbia, sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the 2007 “20 under 40” class presented by The State newspaper and was named “Top 40 Under 40” by Black Pages USA in 2014. He is a graduate of the South Carolina Economic Developer’s School and the South Carolina Community Development Certificate Institute having completed studies in Community Economic Development. Jamie’s contributions to his community are further expressed through his work with his church, Brookland Baptist, and his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, where he served on the Executive Committee.
Tameika is a wife, mother, attorney and a member of Columbia City Council, currently serving as the Mayor Pro Tem. At age 29, Mrs. Devine made history on 2002 when she was first elected as a member of City Council, becoming the first African American female elected to city council and the first African American to be elected at-large. Tameika is a 1994 graduate of Hampton University and a 1997 graduate of The University of South Carolina School of Law. Prior to starting her own law firm in 2001, Attorney Devine was a special prosecutor for the SC General Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted some of the State’s more heinous domestic violence and sexual assault cases. In 2001, Attorney Devine started her own law firm, Jabber & Isaac, PA, which is a boutique law firm wholly owned and operated by African American females. She is also a certified personal and executive coach, specializing in working with women leaders and moms to help them with work life integration.
Mrs. Devine serves on numerous boards, commissions and civic organizations. She has also received numerous awards and recognitions including being named Top 20 Under 40 by The State newspaper, a Woman of Distinction by the Congaree Area Girl Scouts of America, a Woman of Excellence by the Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the Living the Legacy Award by the National Council of Negro Women, the Whitney M. Young, Jr. service award by the Indian Waters Council of Boy Scouts of America and the Lincoln C. Jenkins Jr. award by the Columbia Urban League. She is a member of the 2017 Class of Women in Government sponsored by Governing Women Magazine. Mrs. Devine continues to make headlines as a true civil servant who is not afraid to stand up for what is right even if it is unpopular. She is a champion of many causes including the War on Poverty, the fight against domestic violence, the empowerment of youth and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
Although, the Devines continue to be very busy in the community, their priority is their family. The Devines have four (4) children, Tamia, Jade and Jameson. Their angel baby, James Henry, was born into heaven in 2014. Tyrone and Kathy first met back in elementary school in the beautiful island of Barbados. Even at such a tender age of 8 years old, Tyrone knew he wanted to one day marry Kathy. He even told this to his grandmother. Tyrone pursued Kathy and they eventually started dating after high school. They later migrated to the U.S. and that is where they would later marry at the age of 21. They dedicated their lives to Christ in their early 20s and have been living their lives serving Christ and others ever since. Their passion for marriage is fueled by their own keen awareness that without God at the center of their marriage, they might not have made it.
They will be celebrating 28 years married on February 14, 2018. They have one 23 year old biological son Mekal and their adopted son Keenin is 22. They also have 2 miniature poodles Bentley and Beemer. Tyrone has his Bachelor degree in Educational Studies and work in the non-profit sector. Kathy has her Master degree in Leadership and work in higher education.
Tyrone and Kathy believe that with God and the right tools, it is possible to have a healthy, stable and strong marriage. They have dedicated their adult lives to helping other couples through Christian mentoring. They are the founders of Open Arms Marrieds Ministry. Kellie (Proctor) Grady, a native of the Washington Metropolitan area, has served her community in various ways. Over twenty years ago, she began her personal walk with Christ who has called her to be a wife, mother, friend, leader and servant.
Kellie is an alumnus of Bowie State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and Howard University, where she studied Clinical Psychology for four years. It was at Howard where she met Dr. Jendayo K. Grady, her husband of over 18 years. Shortly, after they were married, Kellie heard God call her from the field of Psychology to her full-time ministry…Homemaker. Kellie has devoted her gifts in the area of organization, administration, and education to her husband and their five wonderful children that range in age from ten to seventeen years old. Kellie even home-schooled all five of their children for over 8 years, setting them on a path of tremendous academic success.
Mrs. Grady has served her community through leadership roles in the Parent Teacher Association, her church, and even amongst her peers. She was the President or Vice-President of one or more of her children’s school PTA for over five years, served in her church’s youth ministry and on various committees, and Kellie is known amongst her peers as “Momma Bear”. Presently, she is a board member of Holystic Health and Wealth, Inc. and the Kemp Mill Swim Club. Kellie loves to travel and even spent 10 weeks conducting research in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Throughout her travels and local experiences she has been grounded by two constants: Jesus is the author and finisher of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and God makes families whole (John 19:27). Vince Williams has been a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 19 years. During this time, Vince has served in the areas of marriage counseling, drug and alcohol treatment, and prison ministry.
For approximately fourteen years, he has served as a pastor or a church official in the local community of Southern Maryland. Vince has also ministered abroad in the countries of Israel and the Ukraine.
He has been married to the love of his life for 22 years and has three lovely children. He is a man of God with a desire to see souls living for God. A pastor to the “betwixt.” Teaching and ministering the word of God to those around him for a better life, a better marriage, healthy relationships.
Elder Butler currently serves as the Pastor of St. Matthew Pentecostal Church (SMPC) in Leonardtown, Maryland. Prior to becoming the Pastor of SMPC, Elder Butler served as an Associate Pastor at Restoration Free Gospel Church under the leadership of Bishop John W. Briscoe. Elder Butler has a passion for sharing God's word while giving hope to those that seemingly have lost all hope. His motto is “If nothing changes, nothing changes.” His favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 34:6: "This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles." Elder Butler is known for his transparency, love for people, and a commitment to sharing the truth.
Elder Butler has been married to the rose of his life for twenty-eight years. He has two children and two grandchildren. Elder Butler holds a degree in Management Development. In the community Elder Butler has served as a volunteer member of the Ethics Commission and the St. Mary's County Social Services Board where he served as Chairperson for two terms. Elder Butler led a weekly bible study while employed at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, bi-weekly teachings at the Calvert County Drug Treatment Facility, and monthly bible study at the Charles County Detention Center where he’s witnessed numerous individuals converted from religion to a relationship with Jesus.

Carisa Oyebanjo is the founder and president of HMS Therapy Services, LLC. Carisa has her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. She has worked in the mental health field for over 18 years. HMS Therapy Services’ mission is to promote quality care in emotional and mental health through serving clients and businesses through counseling and trainings.
Carisa established HMS Therapy Services after working for many years in counseling. Prior to opening HMS Therapy Services, she worked with individuals, couples, families and children by provided counseling services. In addition, Carisa held leadership positions in mental health companies in areas of program management. She has been providing clinical supervision and training to other counselors and therapists for over 7 years. She also has presented numerous workshops and trainings on Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety and a variety of work-life/mental health topics.
She was a guest speaker on a local radio program in the Washington, DC area, providing quality information on mental health. She is passionate about reducing and eliminating the stigma of mental health and actively helps to coordinate workshops on pertinent mental health topics in the faith community.
On a personal note, Carisa has been happily married for over 12 years and has two beautiful children. She enjoys her works tremendously and is enthusiastic to share information about how to take care of oneself emotionally with all who will listen.

Paula Anderson, LCPC, LPC, NCC is a licensed clinical professional counselor, licensed in both the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She has over 14 years of experience providing individual, group, marriage and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She received her Master’s in Community Counseling from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. During her time at The George Washington University, she began working with and developing an interest in clients from various cultural backgrounds, which earned her the Clemmont E. Vontress Cross-Cultural Award upon graduation. Her main theoretical approach in counseling is Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, but she also incorporates many other approaches and feels that her approach is more eclectic. Ms. Anderson has worked in school-based mental health, private practice, corporate, non-profit, and home based settings. Her wealth of experience equips her to work effectively with people in many settings.
In her work with PACE Consulting, Ms. Anderson provides consulting services as well as conducts workshops and trainings to her various clients. She also provides supervision to Masters level clinicians.

Dr. Jendayo Grady is the Founder and President of Holystic Health & Wealth, Inc., a Christian-based corporation that helps its’ clientele to “be made whole.” Dr. Grady specializes in marriage and family counseling, and individual counseling with clients who present with trauma, depression, and anxiety. He also services youth and young adults, and does relationship and Christian counseling.
Dr. Grady also does business and life coaching. He founded the Divine Dreamer Coaching Program, which helps clients successfully walk in their divine purpose. Dr. Grady is the author of the book, “The Forgiveness Diet”, and is currently writing a book on building healthy marriages.
Dr. Grady is a highly sought after speaker, seminar facilitator, and panelist. He has been a guest on the Audrey Chapman Show, WOL, Thirsty Soul Radio, The Districtly Speaking Show, and other radio shows.
